2014-04-12 Sungazing in the Botanical Gardens

Our first event in the Botanical Gardens for many years was a great success despite the cloudy weather. There were many interested visitors and a few actually saw a fleeting image of the Sun during some brief cloud breaks. By an amazing coincidence, the grandson of our founder, Reginald Cox, was visiting the city and came and talked to us. Robert Cox lives in Coventry and it was great he had taken the time to stop and chat, especially as the society will be 80 years old in a week or so.
