2013-09-21 Stargazing at the Sportsman PH at the equinox

Our first public observing evening outside Mayfield was a great success with over 50 people coming along.  After a bit of cloud, the sky cleared and we watched a near-full Moon rise through the clouds on the horizon. Many Messier objects were seen and a -7.5 magnitude Iridium flare rounded off a great evening.
